The following tribute is dedicated to Mahinarangi Tocker – that bolshy girl who spoke her mind and whose creativity, passion and longevity as a female singer/songwriter inspired me to keep looking for new ways to work as a musician in Aotearoa.

 I thought it would be great to post my set from the Mahinarangi Tocker tribute concert which was held in her posthumous honour at the Wintergardens in the Auckland Domain on Sunday Jan 25th.

Also performing were Whirimako Black, Caitlin Smith, Shona Laing, Nigel Gavin and Lance Sua.
